This outpatient substance use disorder treatment center exists within a network of treatment facilities throughout West Virginia and Indiana that offer various levels of care. This particular branch of Wise Path provides their patients with intensive outpatient programs (IOP), outpatient programs and medication-assisted treatment. The outpatient programs at Wise Path are specifically designed for people who have already received a higher level of care or have a mild substance use disorder. The intake team can help potential patients determine which level of care is needed. These programs at Wise Path are intended for patients who have a strong support system and no long-term withdrawal symptoms. Patients work to reintegrate back into the real world and repair relationships with family and friends. Each patient receives a person-centered treatment plan upon arriving at the facility. Both the IOP and outpatient program include group and individual therapy sessions either in the morning or evening to accommodate family and work life. In addition to therapy sessions, each patient can participate in peer-led self-help groups, occupational therapy and career counseling.
