Tucked in scenic Delburne, Canada, Venture Academy’s residential evaluation and therapy program is therapeutic boarding school for teens ages 13-18. Canadian troubled teens can receive assistance from Venture Academy, including those who are dealing with anxiety, depression, conduct disorder, family conflict, negative peers, school suspensions, low self-esteem. Additionally, Venture Academy treats drug and alcohol abuse, attention deficit disorder (ADD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), and other clinically deemed disorders or significant behavioral challenges. The Venture Academy program offers specialized clinical, therapeutic, and educational support. They encourage parents to reach out if seeking a private therapeutic school or residential treatment program for their teen.
Some of Venture Academy’s therapeutic approaches include motivational interviewing, CBT, DBT, executive function management, and trauma-informed therapy. Additionally, there is a focus on physical health and fitness throughout their time at Venture Academy. Teenagers can include extra tailored activities based on a child's love in sports, music, art, or other particular hobbies while participating in our basic seasonal activities, which help them re-build their self-esteem. At their camp-like treatment campus, teens can enjoy water activities on the lake, rock climbing, art projects, canoeing, and more.
