The Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center supports Veterans facing substance use challenges, PTSD, depression, and other mental health conditions. Services include outpatient therapy, inpatient treatment, and 24-hour residential rehabilitation for those dealing with trauma, homelessness, or addiction. Veterans across Washington, Oregon, and Idaho can access care through clinics and telehealth sites, with a strong focus on recovery and stability. Veterans receive care in safe, inclusive settings using evidence-based therapies and personalized treatment plans. Support includes individual and group counseling, medication management, psychiatric care, and creative arts therapies. Specialized programs help those experiencing military sexual trauma, intimate partner violence, or identity-based stress. Services are designed to promote long-term healing through compassionate, Veteran-centered approaches. In addition to mental health care, the center provides full medical services and rehabilitation through its Community Living Center and home-based programs. These include primary care at home, medical foster home support, and hospice and palliative care. Veterans also have access to housing help, job training, suicide prevention, and women’s health services to ensure continued support throughout every stage of recovery.
