About this facility

The Meadows Virtual Intensive Outpatient (VIOP) eating disorder program provides trauma-focused treatment for adults in Arizona and California. Acknowledging the connection between trauma and mental health, this program aims to address both the symptoms and underlying factors of eating disorders through a virtual format. The virtual program is structured yet flexible, allowing clients to benefit from intensive support while maintaining their prior engagements. It is designed to treat anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and other specified feeding or eating disorders (OSFED). In addition, the program provides care for co-occurring conditions like anxiety, depression, substance use, and compulsive behaviors. The VIOP includes process group therapy, Meadows' Model group therapy, personalized nutrition counseling, supported meals, weekly individual counseling sessions, dietitian sessions, and family support groups. The program runs 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, over an eight-week period. For accountability and added support, personalized meal plans and one-on-one support are provided through the Recovery Record mobile app.
