About this facility

With stunning views of the Pacific Ocean and steps away from the beach, The Meadows Malibu offers tranquil retreat for those struggling with addiction, mental health issues, or co-occurring disorders. They provide a variety of treatment methods from evidence-based therapies, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), to holistic remedies, like acupuncture and yoga. The Meadows also has a Brain Center in their facility which is used to address the neuroscience of the trauma causing these issues for their clients. They use neurofeedback therapy here to train brain functioning, and they also use Cranio-Electro Stimulation (CES), Heart-Rate Variability (HRV), and Chi Machine in this area. This is available to all of their patients to better help their treatment. Additionally, they offer case management support to find the best suited plan for each patient and a special nutrition plan. A rustic cabin tucked away in the Malibu hills, The Meadows Malibu is a 12-bed home that offers activities like hiking, surfing, and soccer. They run their center based on the three principles that form the core of psychological functioning which create our life experiences: mind, thought, and consciousness. They not only help their clients towards recovery, but they also help educate them on how to grow and live by these principles. Their programs are tailored to the patient’s unique clinical, health, social, work, and personal needs. They are accredited by The Joint Commission, and they are a private pay program.
