About this facility

In Tucson, Arizona, The Haven Outpatient has been providing gender-specific addiction treatment for women since 1970. This well-established center treats women-specific issues with a blend of evidence-based therapies and trauma-informed care. Women receive individualized treatment plans that may consist of cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), eye movement therapy (EMDR), life skills training, psychoeducation, 12-Step programming, and recovery coaching support. The Haven Outpatient offers a 90 day intensive outpatient program (IOP) to provide women with a higher level of care than traditional outpatient programming. Clients receive 16-30 hours of treatment per week, which includes at least 1 hour of individual counseling, 12 hours of support groups, and at least 3 hours of recovery-based classes. Other aspects of the program include random drug screenings, case management services, and medication services. As much as possible, The Haven seeks to include families in the treatment process. The Haven is accredited by CARF and accepts Arizona insurance plans.
