The Fullbrook Center is a facility for women, providing healing and sanctuary from substance use, mental health disorders, and trauma. Their Fort Worth location is their outreach center, which works to connect women to the treatment they need. Fullbrook offers detox, a residential program, day treatment (partial hospitalization program), and an intensive outpatient program. They are level 3.7 care ASAM certified, a member of the NAATP, and CARF accredited. Using principles of the 12-Step methodology with a spectrum of therapies in 1-on-1, group, and family session settings, they address substance use, co-occurring disorders, and trauma. They offer education and experiential therapies like equine therapy, psychodrama, music, therapy, and art therapies through which women can explore and express emotions. They use somatic experiencing, which is a body-centered therapy used to address the physical manifestations of trauma, along with eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) to help women reprocess distressing memories. Fullbrook provides each patient a recommended clinical aftercare plan tailored to their needs. Typically, each aftercare plan involves a 90-day commitment to therapy sessions. Aftercare referrals can also include psychiatric services, transitional living, outpatient clinical programs, and supportive services. Women are encouraged to come back to The Fullbrook Center to mentor and assist other patients in their recovery.
