In a beautiful ranch setting, Sundown M Ranch treats men and women who are struggling with substance addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. Sundown M Ranch can accommodate 100 adults and 60 adolescents for residential treatment. The outpatient services have 30-50 clients at any given time. The typical length of stay for an adult is 20 day and for adolescents it can go up to 45 days. Sundown M Ranch uses evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), 12-Step facilitation, individual and group therapy, equine therapy, family counseling, and medication-assisted therapies (MAT). Sundown M Ranch provides classes for clients including parenting classes, life skills classes, and adolescent programs for schooling. Sundown M Ranch employs over 150 staff members who create the staff to client ratio of 2:1. They are accredited by CARF. Sundown M Ranch accepts most major insurances.
Stretched out over 35 acres are buildings with private rooms and shared jack and jill bathrooms. The campus features a lecture hall, a conference room, and a 7,000 square foot gym with basketball courts and volleyball courts. Clients' meals are served cafeteria-style in a large dining hall and are designed by a dietician for optimal nutrition.
