With an emphasis on virtual care options, Still Waters Recovery and Wellness offers online substance use evaluations, web-based therapy, and internet group meetings, in addition to in-person services at their office in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They take a holistic perspective, and integrate cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with meditation and mindfulness, group therapy, and faith-based options from a Christian perspective.
Still Waters Recovery and Wellness offers an intensive outpatient program (IOP), extended outpatient programs, and aftercare. Clients participate in individual counseling, online group therapy, and internet lessons. Still Waters offers online and in-person substance use evaluations, including special evaluations for those facing an OWI charge, certified by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and Iowa Department of Public Health. Parents who are concerned their teen may be using substances can purchase a substance use screening and drug test to help determine if the teen needs treatment.
Still Waters does not directly accept insurance, but refers clients to a third party and makes instructions available for clients to apply for insurance reimbursement. They strive to make their services affordable for everyone, with a sliding fee scale and prices ranging from $20-$250 per session.
