Sierra Recovery treats alcohol and drug dependence with a clear, phased approach: medical detox coordinated through a local hospital, followed by the residential programme where therapists work with clients to uncover the roots of their addiction. The intimate, 22 guest clinic requires a minimum of a 14-day stay, although most clients benefit from a longer period of time.

Blending science-based clinical care with restorative body-mind practices so clients address both the story of their addiction and the sensations that keep it alive. Because the care is delivered by a small, English-speaking team, many specialising in trauma and addiction, clients get the clinical rigour and attention to make real changes.
In a secluded corner of Malaga, this centre offers privacy and peace—a place where healing unfolds surrounded by breathtaking mountain views. Clients stay in beautiful single rooms, all designed to give them personal space for reflection and rest. The centre has a ranch-style feel, blending luxury with rustic charm. Beyond the rooms, their amenities are meant to nurture body and mind with sparkling swimming pools, tennis and basketball courts, and winding trails that lead straight into the mountains.
Healing doesn’t end when clients leave Malaga Hills—it’s the beginning of a new chapter of support and connection. After treatment, clients are invited to sustain their growth through weekly aftercare sessions, in-person or virtual aftercare groups, a weekly family group, and the option to continue one-to-one counselling. If clients are transitioning back home, Sierra arranges seamless handovers, so they’re never alone on their journey.
