About this facility

Sierra Meadows is a mental health treatment center in Fresno, California geared toward adults struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, postpartum depression, trauma, personality disorders, eating disorders, and more. Sierra Meadows Behavioral Health was created in April 2018 with a strategic strategy to address mental health disparities in Fresno County. Dr. Tatum is the inspiration behind this locally owned organization which started from seeing first-hand observations of the devastating consequences of unmet behavioral health needs in a community. Dr. Tatum, would frequently receive calls from worried loved ones and referral sources inquiring where they could find help for individuals who required more intensive treatment but did not satisfy the criteria for inpatient mental hospitalization. This need led to Sierra Meadows being born. Sierra Meadows Behavioral Health is Fresno’s only private, adult mental health outpatient program. They also offer residential treatment in Clovis, California in a comfortable home-like setting. The outpatient program consists of evidence-based therapies like traditional talk therapy, solution-focused therapy, couples, counseling, family therapy, and more. The intensive outpatient program (IOP) is offered both in the daytime and evening 4 days a week, while the Day Treatment (PHP) runs 9:00a.m to 3:00 p.m. Appointments can also be made via zoom. Sierra Meadows has come to be a light of hope and a road to recovery in a time of need.
