About this facility

The Santa Clara County Department of Alcohol and Drug Services at 151 West Mission Street offers outpatient treatment for individuals managing both mental health and substance use challenges. Licensed and pre-licensed clinicians, along with Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselors, deliver these services. Peer mentors with lived experience provide additional support, guidance, Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) vouchers, and connections to community resources. Many staff speak Spanish and other common community languages to ensure culturally responsive care. This site also hosts the Reentry Resource Center, which supports individuals returning to the community. Services include behavioral health support, primary healthcare, social services assistance such as Medi-Cal and housing, and connections to faith-based programs. The center operates the Mission Street Recovery Station, a 24-hour voluntary sobering and crisis stabilization facility to reduce emergency visits and support recovery.
