About this facility

Set in Northern Illinois, Rosencrance Harrison is an inpatient and outpatient center that offers 12-Step guidance and evidence-based therapies to help adults develop essential tools and rebuild positive, healthy relationships. They offer opiate-specific treatment and a specialized treatment track for first responders. Their 97-bed facility provides treatment for substance use in addition to co-occurring disorders such as PTSD, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Rosencrance Harrison aims to address the whole client and offers health and wellness programming involving nutrition education, therapeutic recreation, and art therapy. An onsite detox with medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is also available for clients. Clients will receive spiritual care, family education and support, and psychoeducation, with planned sober activities upon exiting treatment. Rosencrace Harrison offers a uniformed services program that meets first responders’ treatment needs. It addresses the complex issues unique to the culture of firefighters, paramedics, law enforcement officers, and the military. The program is directed by an active duty battalion chief/EMT. It features treatment options such as EMDR, sleep disturbance assessment, cortisol level testing, and pain management. Clients can take advantage of modern treatment facilities at Rosencrance Harrison’s 10-acre park-like campus. The addiction treatment center includes an outdoor dining area, a chapel, a health center, a serenity walking route, an alumni center, an art room, and a fitness center.
