The Retreat of Broward provides the first step in the recovery process by offering comfortable, medical detox. Staffed with a team of professionals, The Retreat of Broward offers personalized support and 24/7 care to all their patients. In addition to medical detox, they provide cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy for underlying mental health issues causing substance misuse, family therapy, and support groups. Patients can partake in individual counseling after detox, which usually lasts 12 weeks depending on the person's individual needs. The Retreat of Broward is located in Pompano Beach, Florida. They have private and semi-private bedrooms, each with a cozy, home-like feel. Each room includes a TV and daily housekeeping services. Healthy meals are catered 3 times a day, with a fully stocked snack room available for all patients. Retreat of Broward is accredited by the Joint Commission and accepts most private insurance.
