The Retreat of Boston provides the first step in the recovery process by offering comfortable, medical detox. Staffed with a team of professionals, The Retreat of Boston offers personalized support and 24/7 care to all their patients. In addition to medical detox, they provide cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy for underlying mental health issues causing substance misuse, family therapy, and support groups. Patients can partake in individual counseling after detox, which usually lasts 12 weeks depending on the person's individual needs. Their 24/7 medically-supervised detox blends medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with mental health services, overseen by a diverse team of physicians, nurses, and mental health treatment providers. Common co-occurring conditions include trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, anxiety and more. Their holistic approach integrates therapy and counseling for long-term healing, with extensive aftercare services and discharge planning.
