About this facility
Offering a powerful way of healing from various mental health and substance use challenges is introduced among individuals and groups within or outside the Bay Area in California. Clients in San Francisco and Oakland areas are offered with retreat services that include body-based recovery approaches, stress management, yoga sessions, and individualized care in a trauma-informed environment. With these unique approaches, clients gain the necessary tools to use the nervous system and body to healthily respond to stress, trauma, anxiety, depression and substance use.
The center manages online group sessions using virtual platforms and meets every last Thursday of the month during 12:00pm - 1:00pm, to help individuals learn about their bodily responses, being gentle towards self and effectively managing work-related stress. Self-paced digital courses for individuals will be offered soon to their clients via waitlisting. Off-site yoga sessions are scheduled every 3rd Friday of the month from 7:00-8:15 in the evening at Oakland, California, fit for 25 individuals. Advance reservations are accepted by the center.
At this recovery center, their integrated approach towards recovery, combining somatic practices, evidence-based methods and trauma-informed care. Through somatic practices, clients develop their ability to self-soothe, calm the nervous system, regulate brain responses and effectively handle life challenges. Evidence-based practices guide counseling sessions offering the tools and techniques to maintain healthy well-being. Clients are able to create plans and long term recovery goals. With trauma-informed care, the center provides a safe and compassionate environment to help people feel accepted, understood, and supported while they attempt to rebuild trust and inner strength.
