About this facility

Pyramid Hammonton Detox and Residential offers treatment for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. With green space, beautiful views of Hammonton Lake, indoor and outdoor lounges, and a fitness center, Pyramid strives to provide a peaceful, comfortable, and healthy environment for treatment. Clients can participate in a short- or long-term residential program, with exact durations of stay varying based on individual needs, with up to 41 participating in detox at a time. Pyramid Healthcare seeks to make treatment affordable, accepting most private insurance and Medicaid. Clients needing detox from alcohol and other substances receive medical monitoring and withdrawal management from nurses and doctors on staff, helping ensure a comfortable start to recovery. Pyramid Healthcare also offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help reduce substance cravings, especially for opiates and alcohol. Collaborating with patients, psychiatrists prescribe and manage medications for co-occurring mental health conditions. Pyramid offers individual therapy, implementing motivational interviewing (MI) along with case management and discharge planning. Clients engage in group therapy, including life skills groups as well as physical and mental wellness classes for long term residents. Treatment incorporates 12-step groups as well as elective anger management, relationship, and trauma classes. Pyramid offers yoga, music therapy, and outdoor recreation as part of a holistic treatment model. Located 35 miles from Philadelphia and 30 miles from Atlantic City, Pyramid Hammonton serves residents throughout southern New Jersey. Clients driving to treatment enjoy easy access to Highway 30 and Atlantic City Expressway, with parking available at the building.
