Pyramid York Detox and Residential offers treatment for adults with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. Pyramid Healthcare seeks to make treatment affordable, accepting most private insurance and Medicaid. Clients needing detox from alcohol and other substances receive medical monitoring and withdrawal management from nurses and doctors on staff, helping ensure a comfortable start to recovery. Pyramid Healthcare also offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using Suboxone and Vivitrol to help reduce substance cravings, especially for opiates and alcohol. Collaborating with patients, psychiatrists prescribe and manage medications for co-occurring mental health conditions. Pyramid York offers individual therapy, implementing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI). Clients engage in group therapy, including life skills groups focusing on finances, job preparation, community resources, and nutrition. Treatment incorporates both 12-step groups and non-twelve step approaches like SMART Recovery and Refuge Recovery. Clients can engage in specialty tracks for co-occurring conditions, relapse prevention, criminality, Trauma Recovery and Empowerment (TREM), and more. Pyramid offers yoga, art therapy, and creative writing as part of a holistic treatment model. Located in the countryside east of York, Pyramid offers services to residents throughout the York and Lancaster area.
