About this facility

Pyramid Stroudsburg Outpatient offers treatment for adults and teens with substance use and mental health concerns. Pyramid Healthcare seeks to make treatment affordable, accepting most private insurance and Medicaid, as well as medical assistance and county funding. Pyramid offers day treatment, meeting 5-6 hours per day, an intensive outpatient program (IOP), meeting 3-4 hours per day, 3 days per week, and traditional outpatient treatment, meeting about 4 hours per week, at this location. Traditional outpatient programs are also available for clients with only mental health concerns and for adolescents ages 12-17. Pyramid Stroudsburg Outpatient offers individual therapy using cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as peer support from others who have gone through addiction. Clients engage in group therapy specific to their conditions, learning coping and relapse-prevention strategies, sharing their experience with others and learning from others in similar circumstances. Clients and their loved ones participate in family or couples counseling with the aim of increasing understanding and communication. Pyramid Stroudsburg offers specialized treatment for adolescents which includes groups tailored to the needs of teens. The Center of Excellence provides specialized care for chronic opioid relapse, with Certified Recovery Specialists helping clients remain in treatment. Collaborating with patients, psychiatrists prescribe and manage medications for co-occurring mental health conditions. Pyramid offers medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for adults only implementing Suboxone, Brixadi, Vivitrol, and Sublocade to help clients with opiate and alcohol cravings. Located in the Stroud Commons building near the New Jersey Border, Pyramid Stroudsburg Outpatient provides access to residents throughout eastern Pennsylvania and northwest New Jersey. Clients enjoy convenient access to I-80, with free parking available at the center.
