Peaks Recovery Center is a dual-diagnosis treatment center for men that specializes in medical detox and inpatient rehab. Peaks Recovery Center offers a continuum of care that provides the time and structure necessary for healing. The staff identifies each person's unique strengths and challenges and develops a custom tailored treatment plan. Peaks Recovery Center uses a holistic approach to recovery combining 12-Step meetings and 1-on-1 therapy. After medical detox, treatment can include CBT, DBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), art therapy, experiential therapy, EMDR, and family counseling. In addition, Peaks Recovery Center provides holistic treatment activities such as meditation, creative expression, yoga, fitness, skiing and snowboarding, fitness, and life skills training. Peaks Recovery Center believes that better routines in exercise, relaxation, and nutrition help replace old negative habits with ones that promote long term recovery.
Peaks Recovery Center is near the beautiful Rocky Mountains in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The facility is spread across 12.5 acres with 3 homes. The spacious 5000 square foot homes provide up-scale accommodations, plenty of space, and comfort for clients. Clients can enjoy an industrial-sized kitchen, well-designed furnishings, a movie theater room, and an on-site pool. Peaks Recovery Center is accredited by the Joint commission and accepts most private insurance.
