About this facility
This intensive outpatient program (IOP) offered by New Dawn Treatment Centers in Citrus Heights, California takes an evidence-based and experiential approach to treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Clients in the 6-8 week program participate in a variety of unique therapies designed to treat the whole person and help clients find new, healthy ways of having fun while in recovery. Some of these therapies include equine therapy, yoga, recreational therapy, art therapy, acupuncture, tai chi, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and more. New Dawn Treatment Centers is a 12-Step program and clients also participate in this programming. They are accredited by CARF and accept most major insurance companies.
