NEM Recovery was founded by Natalie Eva Marie after her own personal recovery experience. NEM Recovery Centers is strategically located in Laguna Beach, California to offer a serene, beachside setting for addiction treatment. Residential treatment takes place in a home-like environment with small groups allowing for attentive care and opportunities to connect with others. They also have a separate home for veterans to receive specialized care.
For many, detox is the first step in addiction treatment. NEM Recovery Centers offers a medical detox program that includes medical supervision and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to mitigate withdrawal symptoms. During a residential stay, individuals will receive evidence-based care through various therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR). NEM focuses on addressing any deep-rooted trauma using targeted therapies for trauma and offers support for individuals with dual mental health diagnoses. In addition to clinical treatment, NEM Recovery values incorporating physical activity, nutrition education, and creativity into treatment. They offer art and music therapies, mindfulness and meditation workshops, nutrition workshops, opportunities for physical fitness, and more. Individuals will engage in community activities throughout treatment like volunteer activities, group hikes, leadership training, and social skills workshops.
