About this facility

This outpatient treatment center provides holistic treatment that addresses both the substance use disorder and any underlying co-occurring disorders. The team at Milestone works to help prevent, intervene, treat and educate clients and their families with a focus on mind and body for complete healing. The clinicians use both holistic and evidence-based therapies in their partial hospitalization program and intensive outpatient program. They help clients release their mental struggles by incorporating grounding techniques, art and music therapy, guided imagery and imagination. They also help treat the physical body by offering medication-assisted treatment if needed, outdoor activities, access to a nearby gym, nutritional education and yoga classes. Additionally, they incorporate indigenous recovery options that draw on the 12 step philosophy from a book called “Red Road to Wellbriety.” They also incorporate dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), advanced relapse prevention, and eye movement therapy (EMDR). The methods used at Milestone are intended to not only help clients cope but also thrive.
