Matt Talbot Recovery Center Men’s Residential is a 26-bed program that offers a safe and supportive space for adult men working on recovery from substance use. Since 1966, the center has provided a structured daily routine that includes individual and group counseling, family education, and life skills training. These services are offered in a homelike environment, where residents can focus on building stability and confidence.
Residents usually stay for around 90 days, during which they practice new coping skills and learn tools to support wellness. The program includes group support like Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous, as well as help in thinking through situations that may challenge their progress. For those who may need more time or support due to age or health concerns, the center works with them to either extend their stay or connect them with another setting that fits their needs.
Each resident has a care plan that is personalized to support their physical, emotional, and social well-being. A team of experienced professionals works with each person before, during, and after their stay to help them feel prepared and supported. The program focuses on helping residents develop skills, routines, and support systems that will help them continue making progress after they leave the center.
