About this facility

Located in the hills of Marin County near San Francisco, compassionate, client-centered care is at the heart of everything they do. Live Oaks specializes in treating substance use disorders, helping individuals break free from the grip of drugs and alcohol with deep understanding and support. Offering medically-assisted detox and residential treatment, their small, intimate setting allows each person to receive focused, one-on-one attention. Live Oaks focuses on truly understanding each client—meeting them where they are and supporting every part of their well-being: mind, body, and spirit. Their programs combine medically-assisted detox with evidence-based therapies to address the underlying patterns of addiction. Somatic therapy, yoga, personal fitness, art therapy, and equine therapy work together with traditional therapies to help clients reconnect with their bodies and safely process deep-seated emotions. And clients don’t just sit in talk therapy—they move, breathe, and experience healing in tangible ways. Comfort is a key part of the healing process at Live Oaks Wellness. With just 6 beds, the space feels warm and intimate, and truly personal. Each person has their own private room with cozy touches that help them feel at home. The on-site chef prepares delicious meals that support body and mind, while yoga and personal fitness offer moments of rejuvenation.
