About this facility
Located near Ventura, California, the center helps men recover from alcohol and drug addiction. Since 1982, the center has provided a clean, sober living space and supports men using a whole-person approach. It welcomes those on medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and uses proven methods to rebuild self-worth, self-esteem, and community involvement.
The center offers many types of therapy that support mental and emotional healing. Residents take part in group and one-on-one counseling, 12-step meetings, anger management, and moral reconation therapy. Education sessions, morning meditations, and skill-building workshops help residents understand addiction and build healthy, sober habits for long-term recovery.
Residents live in a shared, structured environment with private and common spaces. Healthy meals are served daily, and weekly activities like yoga, art, and bowling help build community. Khepera House also offers support groups for families and employment training, helping residents return to everyday life with confidence and purpose.
