They combine the 12-Step framework with life skills training and also offer medication-assisted treatment. At Joyful Minds Recovery Center, treatment is structured around a well-rounded and holistic model that brings together evidence-based therapies, wellness approaches, and peer support to foster deep and sustained healing. In their residential program, clients receive 24/7 supervision and a daily routine combining therapies, life skills training, mindfulness, and wellness practices. Clients explore personal triggers, emotional challenges, and behavioral patterns, while also connecting with others for mutual support and accountability. For clients coping with substance use, Joyful Minds offer medically supervised detox along with their other services.
Joyful Mind's trauma-informed therapies include eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and cognitive processing therapy (CPT) to help veterans work through trauma. As substance use disorders continue to rise among veterans, the center combines medication-assisted treatment with individual counseling and group therapy to address addiction alongside co-occurring concerns.. Offering expert care, peer connection, and practical help, Joyful Minds tailors the treatment experience for veterans and their families.
