All patients get screened, are given brief interventions and referred to other treatment centers for their unique needs. The staff is equipped to provide counseling, health education, referrals and other support as needed for patients’ mental health or substance use disorders. Patients can learn to adjust to life changes, reduce worry and stress, cope with trauma, grief or loss, manage anger, enhance parenting skills, and manage symptoms of mental illness. The specific drug treatment program here provides prevention and outpatient services for patients with substance use disorders. Patients can receive individual and group counseling, assessments and education, crisis intervention, drug testing and case management services here. They also provide programs for women who are pregnant and under the influence of drugs or alcohol as well.
