About this facility
This intentionally designed center provides a homelike and comfortable place to heal for adolescent girls ages 12–17 facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, and co-occurring substance use. With a 1:1 staff-to-client ratio, CPI-certified staff, and gender-specific housing, Hillside stives to ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Hillside Horizon blends evidence-based and holistic therapies to help teen girls build resilience and healthier coping skills. Their program includes individual counseling, trauma-specific therapy, art and music therapy, somatic therapy, and yoga. These approaches empower girls to process emotions, develop confidence, and reconnect with themselves, offering a path to long-term healing and growth.
Girls stay in gender-specific residences in comfortable shared rooms. Nutritious meals, indoor comforts, and outdoor amenities like paddleboarding, kayaking, and hiking create a balanced recovery setting. With mountain views, lake activities, and organized adventure outings, Hillside strives to provide a safe and restorative home away from home.
