Helen’s Project is a non-profit organization aiming to transform mental health care for communities of color. Helen’s Project provides counseling for a variety of symptoms and disorders, including anxiety, abuse, anger management, depression, grief, self-harm, trauma & post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and sexuality. Their team includes licensed therapists, licensed social workers certified in eye movement therapy (EMDR), and mental health nurse practitioners, providing a well-rounded approach to care for each patient. The organization accepts all major private and public insurance plans, including Tricare and Medicare, and they provide a sliding scale payment plan to accommodate clients based on their income.
