The Guidance Center of Lea County – Lovington Office supports adults, teens, and children facing mental health, substance use, and emotional challenges. The team provides outpatient care, intensive therapy, and recovery support. With over 50 years of service, the center delivers expert care and whole-person wellness while staying committed to each client’s recovery journey.
The staff uses both evidence-based and holistic therapies to guide treatment. Clients engage in individual, group, and family therapy, receive medication support, and participate in intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Peer services, recovery planning, psychosocial skill-building, and trauma-informed care empower clients to grow in body, mind, and spirit.
Families and individuals benefit from specialized services like high-fidelity wraparound, home visiting, juvenile community care, and crisis response programs such as LEAD, a diversion initiative that provides a non-punitive, community-based system of response to problematic or unlawful behavior that is rooted in substance use disorder. The center also provides supportive housing assistance, parenting education, care coordination, and peer coaching. Staff tailor care to meet each person’s unique needs, helping them move forward with strength and purpose.
