Since 2014, Groups Recover Together has expanded access to outpatient care nationwide. This Lakeland location is one of the 12 centers in Florida, providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid addiction in a welcoming, community-based setting. Open Monday to Thursday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, the center offers flexible scheduling to support recovery needs.
Recovery begins with FDA-approved suboxone to ease withdrawal and reduce cravings, paired with weekly group therapy on topics ranging from anger management to coping strategies. Patients receive trauma-informed, personalized support from experienced substance use counselors, recovery support specialists, and clinicians. Intake is efficient and often virtual, linking individuals to medical assessments, medication, and peer support to keep them engaged in care.
In addition to in-person visits, the center offers a mobile application for remote services. Scheduled video appointments, group therapy, and secure communication create a structured virtual environment that supports MAT and peer connection while sustaining strong clinical outcomes.
