At First Step to Recovery (FSTR), they have an extensive understanding of various mental health conditions, such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other mental disorders that commonly co-occur with addiction and substance use disorders in adults. FSTR's telemedicine intensive outpatient program (IOP) for addiction recovery provides clients with the same high-quality care standards while adhering to guidelines set by the Center for Disease Control, the State of Texas, and other regulatory health and safety protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their virtual programming is flexible, allowing clients to schedule sessions at their convenience and in privacy. Telemedicine also eliminates barriers to successful recovery treatment, such as transportation issues, travel constraints, and inconsistent scheduling between sessions. The online program ensures that clients continue to receive adequate care and support through a reliable staff-patient relationship.
