About this facility

Evolve Cole ranch is a residential treatment center (RTC) for adolescents, specializing in mental health, substance use, and behavioral challenges specifically for teens ages 12 to 17 from across the Encinitas area. Located in a quiet, private neighborhood, the location is designed as a serene and structured home‑like setting. The facility includes therapeutic spaces such as therapy offices, a group room, a school room, a gym, comfortable bedrooms, and a resort‑style backyard complete with a pool, outdoor dining, and recreational areas. It is also just minutes away from a variety of hiking trails. Evolve Cole Ranch provides comprehensive, evidence-based residential treatment for teens who are struggling with mental health or substance use issues. Programming typically lasts between 30-45 days and serves up to six clients at a time. Services include individualized treatment plans, frequent daily group therapy sessions, three individual therapy sessions per week, and two family therapy sessions weekly. The clinical model uses evidence-based modalities like dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), plus experiential therapies such as art, music, equine therapy, surfing, yoga, and hiking. Psychiatric and nursing care support the treatment, and aftercare planning is provided before discharge. Evolve Cole Ranch is accredited by both CARF and The Joint Commission, ensuring compliance with recognized standards of clinical quality and safety. Admission begins with a free clinical assessment to determine the appropriate level of care. If Evolve isn’t the right fit, they’ll provide referrals to more suitable programs.
