Located on a peaceful 40 acre campus just outside Philadelphia, Eagleville Hospital offers a chance to begin again. For over 100 years, this nonprofit treatment center has helped adults facing substance use, mental health challenges, and co-occurring disorders take the first steps toward healing. With a dedicated team of physicians, psychologists, nurses, and recovery specialists, Eagleville ensures each person is met with dignity, compassion, and support—day or night. Around-the-clock admissions mean help is always available, especially for those who need it most. Priority consideration is given to individuals who use injection drugs, veterans, and those who have survived an overdose.
Eagleville's approach to treatment is as unique as the person receiving it. From medically supervised detox and psychiatric care to long-term residential programs, every plan is thoughtfully designed. Evidence-based therapies like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) are paired with 12-step recovery-based programs and a range of supportive services. Patients may find strength in peer groups, job training, or even quiet moments in art or music therapy. Gardening, fitness classes, and walks around the campus offer time for reflection and renewal.
