Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program Tacoma is an outpatient program treating mental health conditions in clients of all ages. They offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). Clients are treated on an individual basis, with their unique needs being taken into consideration to help them best achieve their recovery goals. The clinical staff uses a variety of evidence-based treatments including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). clients participate in both individual and group therapy sessions. Discovery is accredited by the Joint Commission and is in-network with most major insurance providers.
Discovery's Tacoma location shares the building with its sister program, Center for Discovery, which cares for clients with eating disorders.
