Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program at Sherman Oaks is a mental health outpatient treatment program for adolescents and adults. Discovery combines 25 years of experience with evidence-based therapy to treat anxiety and mood disorders. They offer varying levels of care including partial hospitalization program (PHP) and an intensive outpatient program (IOP). For the treatment of depression, self-harm, bipolar disorder, anxiety, trauma, and reactive attachment disorder, the program uses cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based approaches in both the individual and group therapeutic settings. Discovery Mood & Anxiety Program Sherman Oaks offers a specialized program for adolescents. In addition to evidence-based therapeutic work, adolescent clients receive academic and life skills coaching. Included in the daily schedule is time for practicing relationship and communication skills and academic confidence.
