They break down past behaviors and trauma to get to the root cause of the issues. Their treatment plans are built for long-term recovery that addresses psychiatric comorbidity factors and addiction. To create these plans, they take many things into consideration, including mental and physical health, emotional state, spiritual practices, family support, current living situation, and motivation for rehabilitation. Some of the therapies Cypress Lake Recovery offers include life skills, 1-on-1 and group counseling, nutritional education, and recovery planning. They also offer holistic therapies like art theory, writing therapy, music therapy and more to create well-rounded treatment plans. Located in the beautiful rolling hills of east Texas on over 200 acres of land, Cypress Lakes Recovery's campus promotes relaxation and rejuvenation, a perfect setting for recovery. The campus has an 18-acre lake on site. Some of the activities they offer include canoeing, yoga, Pilates, mindfulness and morning stretching exercises, fishing, walks on the trail, hiking therapy, daily physical fitness, and more.
