Center for Discovery Plano trained their staff to work with young clients of all genders who includes two therapist certified eating disorder specialists (CEDS). The therapists provide cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and exposure and response prevention (ERP) while also engaging the clients in mindful movement and yoga in a beautiful outside space. Center for Discovery Plano provides a binge eating treatment program called Path to Peace that works to discover a peaceful relationship with food and the body. They believe that clients are healthy at every size, and they are never weight-focused. Center for Discovery Plano treats anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder (BED), avoidant/ restrictive food intake disorder, orthorexia nervosa, and co-occurring mental health disorders. They provide clients' families the knowledge and education needed to understand their child's needs. Center for Discovery Plano accepts most insurances including Tricare.
