About this facility

CeDAR, the Center for Dependency, Addiction and Rehabilitation, delivers comprehensive, evidence-based addiction care. Located on a beautiful, private campus integrated into UCHealth University of Colorado Hospital, CeDAR provides both inpatient and outpatient addiction treatment, along with the highest levels of addiction-related medical and psychiatric care for adults 18 years of age and older. As Colorado’s only treatment center within an academic health system, CeDAR connects its programs with research, board-certified care, and complex medical support. Personalized care blends cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), medication-assisted and trauma-informed therapies with holistic services—fitness counseling, spiritual growth, gender-responsive groups and family healing—to build lasting recovery. Joint Commission accreditation, NAATP membership, Newsweek “Best Treatment Centers” recognition and a vibrant alumni network underscore CeDAR’s clinical excellence, safety and enduring community, including alumni programming and lifelong relapse-prevention resources for graduates.
