Birch Tree Communities Mountain View supports adults with mental illnesses like schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and schizoaffective disorder. Located in the Ozarks, the center offers weekday rehabilitative day treatment and weekend support. Staff help members set goals, build on strengths, and live meaningful lives through therapy, education, and community connection.
The Mountain View branch offers group and individual therapy, medication help, and illness management. Members also take part in educational classes and life skills coaching. Therapists and coaches follow each member’s recovery plan. Staff encourage members to learn more about themselves and support them in reaching their dreams through a caring and team-based approach.
Mountain View provides group homes, including the Herman Harley House for women, and another home near the town square. Members enjoy quiet, country living just outside the city. They join in community events, go hiking, fishing, and take trips during the week. Staff also help with job searches, school, and getting benefits like SNAP and housing.
