Avenues Recovery Center at Prince Frederick is a 93-bed residential facility for drug and alcohol addiction treatment. Their newly remodeled building houses all services under one roof for a seamless recovery experience. A medical and clinical team remains on call 24/7 to meet every need with dignity and compassion.
They offer medical detox, residential care, intensive outpatient (IOP), and outpatient services, with a primary focus on a 30–60 day outpatient rehab program. Treatment includes life skills, wellness, nutrition, social acceptance, financial responsibility, family values, individual counseling, group therapy, and 12-Step facilitation. Group therapy may also include art therapy, role playing, music therapy, educational seminars, fitness activities, and more.
A typical day features three group sessions and recreational activities such as art therapy, role-playing, music therapy, educational seminars, fitness, and 12-Step discussions. Residential and IOP clients participate in yoga, meditation, and optional spiritual sessions.
