Avenues Recovery Center at Metairie is a unique, community-based residential treatment program that provides customized treatment plans specific to the individual. They offer multiple levels of care to support clients in various stages including medical detox, residential care, an intensive outpatient (IOP), and a 90-day outpatient program. Avenues Recovery treats the whole person's body, mind, and spirit. As clients progress, so does individualized care. The extended care goal is to begin employment by day while continuing therapy sessions in the evenings. Life skills, wellness, nutrition, social acceptance, financial responsibilities, and family values are all key components of their treatment plans, along with individual counseling, group therapy, and 12-Step facilitation.
Avenues Recovery has inpatient rehab and outpatient rehab centers across the country. Their Metairie location is conveniently located in the northwest part of the New Orleans area. The 48-bed facility incorporates 10 converted luxury town-homes surrounding the treatment center, each with semi-private rooms, kitchens, and living rooms. The cozy, home-like feel provides the comfortable environment needed for long-term recovery. Clients can also enjoy local transportation, nightly 12-Step meetings, gourmet catered meals, and fun evening and weekend activities.
