About this facility

AMS of Wisconsin, LLC in Onalaska provides compassionate, evidence-based treatment for adults with opioid use disorders. Services span the full continuum of outpatient care, including intensive outpatient (IOP), standard outpatient, and aftercare. Patients may begin with medically managed detox, stabilize through medication-assisted treatment using methadone or buprenorphine, and receive support for co-occurring conditions. Each care level is guided by individualized treatment planning and the ASAM’s placement criteria. IOP offers a structured yet flexible approach, meeting 4 days a week for 2.25 hours per session over 8 weeks. Patients receive 9 hours of weekly group therapy focused on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), relapse prevention, and 12 Step/Mutual Support principles. Services include individual counseling, life skills training, and recovery-based programs like SMART or Celebrate Recovery. Day and evening sessions are available to provide flexible treatment options for working individuals. To support recovery continuity, the facility offers convenient guest dosing for those visiting or transitioning to the area. With a daily fee of $20 and a one-time administrative fee of $25, patients can safely continue methadone treatment while away from their home clinic. This service ensures uninterrupted care and is ideal for patients traveling for work, family visits, or vacation who want to stay on track.
