They also offer a separate program specifically for healthcare professionals who struggle with addiction. Many healthcare professionals deal with anxiety, depression and addiction, often due to burnout, stress and high pressure. This program includes confidential treatment, coping strategies, intensive personal counseling, peer support and stress reduction education.
Ambrosia provides the option to work with an addiction interventionist who can provide help for families or colleagues who are concerned about a loved one. Not only do they help initiate treatment, but they stay with the family and/or patient for 6 months following treatment to monitor progress, help with aftercare, and offer recovery strategies for both families and colleagues alike.
