About this facility

Thrive Alabama provides behavioral health services for individuals over 18, especially those in underserved communities. Programs like “The Den” support people facing substance use challenges, while “VOCA” offers free counseling for survivors of violent crime. They provide free or low-cost screenings, intensive outpatient care (IOP), and therapy in a safe, welcoming space that respects each person’s individuality. The center is built around each person’s needs. Through 1-on-1 and group therapy, clients get support with stress management, job readiness, HIV and Hepatitis C testing, and case management. Services also include legal advocacy when needed. These therapies help people regain confidence, emotional stability, and a sense of connection during recovery. Clients receive outpatient care while continuing to live at home, allowing them to stay connected to their daily lives and community. The center offers support with transportation, insurance, and referrals to additional services, helping to remove common barriers to treatment. All of this takes place in a warm, judgment-free environment where individuals can heal, grow, and regain control—without having to leave the people and places they care about. It’s recovery that fits into real life, empowering lasting change.
