About this facility

Located downtown in Cedar City, Utah, Access Foundation Serenity Station provides a scenic sober living location for men and women. The house is a duplex, with one side for men and the other side for women. Access Foundation Elmwood uses evidence-based group therapy, random drug tests, opportunities to practice leadership and teamwork at the house, and personal finance training. The main leadership roles in the house include House Manager, Assistant Manager, House Accountant, and Chore Advisor. During the first 30 days onsite, residents attend 5 weekly recovers meetings. After that, residents attend 3 weekly meetings. Access Foundation doesn't require participants to attend outside treatment. Access Foundation carries accreditation from the Joint Commission and the Utah state government. Access Foundation Serenity Station is a 7-bedroom, 4-bathroom house with 3 floors, several lounge and kitchen areas, plenty of space to do laundry, and a yard. The property measures 3,728 square feet. Residents attend their weekly recovery meetings and the weekly house meeting on Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Residents must find employment within 30 days of moving into the house, and they receive support in job searches. Access Foundation Serenity Station has a no-drugs policy. They ask residents who test positive to leave the house, but they hold their beds for 72 hours and readmit residents within the 72 hours who test negative for drugs. They allow smoking outside the house, but not inside the house. Curfew on the first 30 days is 10 p.m. After the first 30 days, curfew is at midnight. Monthly rent is $500, due on the first of the month. The security deposit is $300. Random drug tests and drug tests for suspected use are $5 per test. For late rent, Access Foundation charges $25 for rent paid between the 6th and the 15th and $50 for rent paid after the 15th. Access Foundation accepts Venmo and CashApp payments. They also accept card payments for a 3.25% fee. Access Foundation distributes BizLab services for entrepreneurs and gears the services to people looking to start a business during recovery. They charge $90/hour for a basic BizLab consultation, $350 for a BizLab kit, or $990 for all 4 BizLab kits. Access Foundation offers additional housing nearby for men at Saving Grace, Elmwood, Shadow Springs, The Mission, and The Parkway; they offer additional housing nearby for women at Elmwood and Sundown. Like this location, those are close to Zion National Park. The other locations have the same policies except for different weekly meeting times.
