About this facility

Abhaya Wellness offers 1-on-1, couples, and family therapy along with gender-responsive intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and medication services. They offer both medication management for mental health diagnoses and medication-assisted treatment for substance use disorders. They combine evidence-based therapies with mindfulness practices to help clients develop greater awareness of their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while also developing the skills to manage them in a healthy way. Acknowledging that men and women experience unique challenges in recovery, Abhaya offers tailored, gender responsive IOPs lasting 12 weeks long. The program is designed to encourage personal growth, help individuals develop a deeper understanding of themselves, and learn how to form deeper connections with others. Their IOPs are no larger than 8 individuals at a time and use a mindfulness-based relapse prevention (MBRP) approach.
